When Liberal Fantasy Turns Deadly

Everybody has been talking a lot lately about how liberals are unwilling to face reality.  From the fantasy of  a “renewable energy world” to denying the fact that it takes a man and a woman to procreate the species to the fact that they got their *&^^#@ handed to them in the last election it has become a game.  But today that changed – today that turned deadly.

This transgender fantasy has got to stop.  Latest reports, with information coming in minute-by-minute ,are that the Minnesota shooter is “a 23-year-old transgender-identifying man.”  Additionally:

Police said they are investigating an apparent video manifesto published to YouTube Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. by a person with the same name as the shooter.

The video appeared to show a young man struggling with mental illness….

It is time to stop separating transgenderism and mental illness.  Persons struggling with their gender-identity are mentally ill – full stop.  That does not mean we don’t love them, that does not mean we do not care for them, all that means is that they have lost touch with reality in some fashion and that is, by definition, mental illness.  Reality is their genitalia – any attempt to deny that reality is a problem.

This is two school shootings in recent times, the other being Nashville two years ago, in which persons with “gender-identity issues” shot the place up.  Come to think of it, shooting up a school is not exactly a rational act either.  And liberals act as if the problem is us for pointing out that these people are not quite in touch with things, rather than the fact that they are not quite in touch with things being the problem.  It is insanity piled on insanity – and it has to end.

It’s deadly.  And not only is it deadly, it is deadly to the most innocent and vulnerable of us – schoolchildren.

I am too worked up to propose solutions right now, other than to state limiting access to firearms ain’t it – at least not for the ordinary joes.  All I am going to say is that if this problem is going to get better – and it HAS to get better – then we have to face up to it.  We have to deal with these people as mentally ill, and we have to understand that some, not all, but some, of the mentally ill are dangerous to themselves and to us.  And we have to deal with that fact accordingly.
