Legendary comedian Tim Conway finally made his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1977, 16 years after Johnny started hosting the long-running, late-night program. Comedy is an art form. Yes, talent and hard work are both involved in making people laugh themselves silly. But true comedic geniuses seem to have a knack for knowing what works and what does not. People like Robin Williams, Bill Murray, Steve Martin and Carol Burnett seemed to possess this unteachable ability to quickly read a room and have the audience cracking up minutes later. The late Tim Conway fit into that exclusive group of people skilled in the comedic arts. He showed his gift for funny time and again as a cast member of The Carol Burnett Show. In his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Tim talked about The Carol Burnett Show, overcoming stage fright, causing Harvey Korman to break character on the show and being the father of six. Early in the clip, Johnny mentions that after 16 years, Tim was finally on the show. He doesnt ask directly, but Johnny clearly wants an explanation for Tims absence from his show. Of course, Tim responds the only way he can: with lightning-quick wit and excellent comedic timing. Well, I didnt know you did this, Tim says. No, thats true. Weve known each other for what? Four or five years? And you never said what you do. Later in the clip, Johnny comments about how Tim and Harvey Korman are always causing one another to break character and laugh during skits on The Carol Burnett Show. Once again, Tim hilariously answers how Harveys laughter on the show during skits helped to provide Tims children with an education. We had a $50 bet going that if I could break him up, hed give me $50, Tim said. And if he could break me up, Id give him $50. And he put three of my kids through school. One young man received a gift and immediately thought it was something for his cat, but he was incredibly and hilariously wrong. Children are a blessing from the good Lord above. The clip begins with a young man sitting at a table, opening a present from his sister. The guy opens the package and is immediately in love with the gift. But he hilariously believes the Cleveland Browns onesie to be for the familys cat. The man even goes so far as to grab the cat and put the animal on the table, believing the gift is for the feline. This happens as the woman, his sister, is laughing hysterically. The young man is informed of his erroneous assumption. Zack, its not for the cat, a man behind the camera tells him. He then realizes his mistake and with eyes wide, runs over to his sister and gives her a big hug. In his overwhelming joy, he actually lifts his sister off the ground. He also explains how it was possible that he made such a mistake during that period. However, Zack and his sister state the unexpected news of a baby came following a particularly trying time. The same year this all happened, too, our dad passed away unexpectedly, the sister said. And, I mean, weve always been close, but I think, you know, when big life events like that happen, you become even closer. Since the childs arrival, Zack has bonded with his sister's baby, thoroughly enjoying his time as an uncle. He is, like, the total definition of fun uncle, Zacks sister said. A group of sure-footed fathers demonstrated their stunning dance moves in a hilarious, but impressive video on social media that has garnered a ton of attention. Social media is an ever-growing and pervasive presence in our society. High-traffic social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok are usually just a simple click away. In a matter of seconds, we can be scrolling through feeds, checking the news, looking at photos of our neighbors dog and watching the latest video making its way around the internet. Yes, social media, in one form or another, appears to be here to stay. One video that has gotten a lot of attention is of dancing dads strutting their stuff in highly choreographed routines set to some of todays biggest hits. A collection of the TikTok dances from the Outta Puff Daddys was posted on YouTube. In the short, less-than-2-minute video, the dancing dads sport Adidas athletic clothing as they groove back and forth and side-to-side in empty parking lots. Now, when anyone hears about fathers moving about rhythmically to music, their first instinct is to laugh. It sounds like a video that would produce nothing but laughter from its viewers. Yes, it is a hilarious concept. How seriously they all take their dancing, combined with their moves is funny. But after watching the video for just a few seconds, its abundantly clear that these dads have a ton of talent. The fathers move in sync with one another, perfectly grooving to the many different tunes used throughout the clip. No one ever appears to be out of place, behind or even lost. All can agree that these dads have some dancing skills! On the About section of their YouTube channel, the Outta Puff Daddys state they are a dad-dancing crew from Brighton, UK. They go on to mention how they have been a group since 2012 and have been dancing creating fun routines that embrace the humour of Dad Dancing to entertain and create joy to all those we perform to.
