A funny skit highlights our dependence on the contacts saved on our phones. Many people struggle to remember and know current phone numbers these days. Watch the short but hysterical sketch, which makes this point painfully obvious.
Many technological advancements have improved our lives in various ways. From advances in the medical field to our vehicles and the appliances in our kitchen, nearly every aspect of our lives is impacted by technology. Thats always a good thing, right?
Well, not 100 percent of the time. Technology has made people lazy and reliant upon that technology. Think about the madness and insanity that occurs when the internet goes down, even for a few minutes, at the office or home. Everything comes crashing to a standstill. People have forgotten how to function in a world without technology.
A clip posted on YouTube shows how our reliance on technology has impacted how we think and left us unable to remember even a simple sequence of numbers. A woman is asked a series of questions about herself and her family, ranging from things about her children to a favorite song.
She answers each question with much excitement and enthusiasm, often giving her answer even before the question is finished. As she continues correctly answering questions, she wins more and more money. She is going to win the $1 million prize easily, right?
Well, not so fast. The game show host then asks her a question that leaves her stumped.
OK, Kim, for $1 million, what is your daughters phone number? the host asks.
Hilariously, her first instinct is to ask Siri for that information. She is quickly informed that asking the iPhone assistant for help is strictly against the rules. She will have to do this one on her own.
She tries to give the number, but it does not go well. She fails to capture the faux $1 million prize.

Tim Conways side-splitting portrayal of a clueless bank robber will have you in stitches. He is playing someone who is very new to the whole crime thing and is still trying to get the hang of it. Watch the short but hysterical clip of Tim Conway trying to get his feet wet when holding up banks for large sums of cash.
As the popular saying goes, crime doesnt pay. Thats especially true if youre as bad as Tim Conway is at it in a classic skit from The Carol Burnett Show. He does absolutely everything possible wrong. His phrasing is entirely off, setting the tone for everything else. He forgets to keep the getaway car running and uses the wrong size bag to secure the loot. Hes not going to make a very good bank robber.
Luckily for Tim, who is still training to become a criminal, the bank teller he encounters is also pretty terrible. Vicki Lawrence is on her first day working at the bank, and to say she is clueless and airheaded would be to put it lightly. Everything she can do wrong, she does incorrectly and very much so. Carol is training her, but its clear very early that her patience with Vicki is running thin.
To keep things moving, Harvey Korman, who is training Tim in the fine art of bank robbery, and Carol both step in and help complete the criminal transaction.
But then something unexpected happens. Harvey and Carol appreciate each others competence and skills. Despite being on opposite sides of the law, its a case of love at first sight. However, they both realize that it could not possibly work between them.
How no one broke character and burst out laughing at no point during this absurd but hilarious skit is beyond me. Anyone else would have understandably lost it very early.

Carol Burnett underwent a hilarious struggle to get noticed at a restaurant. She wanted others to take notice of her existence while dining out with a friend in a hysterical sketch from The Carol Burnett Show. Watch the short but hilarious skit to see how badly she wanted others to know that she exists and how it does not work out for her.
People often say they feel invisible or like ghosts, unseen by others. Of course, they dont really believe that they are like Casper, the friendly ghosttransparent and floating around. They are indicating their desire for others to acknowledge their thoughts and feelings. They want their feelings to be considered when people make choices and decisions.
Isnt that what everyone wants? We all want to feel that what we say and do matters. In a clip posted on YouTube, that is precisely what Carol wants. However, no one seems to notice or even see her despite how much she tries. For some reason, she goes unseen by everyone.
As the skit begins, Carol is dining with a friend, played by Vicki Lawrence. She continually tries to get a servers attention to put in her order, but that goes about as well as youd expect. When Carol is finally able to get the waiter, played by Harvey Korman, her order, he writes it down but basically brushes it aside. She never does get her food.
Things only get worse for Carol. She isnt even given a place setting, and the only time she is ever noticed throughout the skit is when she ends up with a slab of butter in the middle of her forehead.
Someone even comes by and asks Vicki if she needs the chair that Carol is currently using. But the biggest laugh is saved for last. Carol causes a massive disaster in the restaurant; no one seems to know or understand who or what caused it.

Tim Conway surprised the queen with a hilarious request at a medal ceremony. The late comedic legends attitude and ask were unusual and shocked the queen. Watch the short but hysterical video featuring Tim Conway making an unexpected demand in a skit from The Carol Burnett Show.
Those who serve in the military are selfless heroes. They give their time, talents and sometimes even their lives to defend their country. Whenever duty calls, those men and women complete their mission's purpose and objective. Sometimes, when things do not go according to plan, extraordinary acts of heroism are necessary and must be taken.
In a clip posted on YouTube, as a soldier, Tim Conway is about to have a medal pinned to his chest by the queen, played by Carol Burnett. But right before she attaches the medal to his uniform, Tim throws her a curveball.
I dont want your medal, he says. He adds, I dont want it, and stick it in your ear.
Understandably, the queen is taken aback by Tims hilarious and unexpected lack of decorum. She is unsure how to respond to the situation and is obviously not used to anyone talking to her like that. Throughout the skit, she consults with another military official, Harvey Korman.
Tim has no interest in receiving a medal for his act of heroism. Instead, hed like to be rewarded with a pony. No one saw that request coming!
The queen, looking to save face and keep Tim happy, fulfills his demand, as odd and off-the-wall as it might be. But Tim doesnt want just any pony; he wants one that is blue. Yes, you read that right; he requested a blue pony from the queen.
How Tim, Carol and Harvey kept from breaking up and laughing out loud is beyond me. Anyone else would have been laughing right from the get-go.

The late Tim Conway takes on a bottle and loses badly in a side-splitting skit from The Carol Burnett Show. The comedic legend showed he could be laugh-out-loud funny without getting up from behind a desk. Watch the short hysterical clip to see another skit where Tims comedic genius is on full display.
Ingesting medicine when sick and getting a vaccination to prevent oneself from getting ill are necessary and common-sense moves everyone should take. While being under the weather is never a cause for celebration, its much worse knowing that you made someone else sick, especially when there are things to do to stop that from happening.
However, taking that medicine is often easier said than done. At one time or another, weve all encountered bottles with pesky child-proof caps. Sometimes, they come off exactly as the instructions on the bottle direct. But other times, removing the cap from the bottle can take a little more effort. This is always frustrating, especially when all you want to do is take some medicine and head back to bed.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim plays a company executive during a special news bulletin. He is demonstrating the new and improved child-proof bottle. Things start fine; Tim articulately explains the need for the new bottle and how it meets a need.
But it doesn't go as planned when he goes to twist the cap off the bottle. His pained expression tells it all. He is in for a battle, and the odds do not look to be on his side.
About halfway through the clip, an unexpected hand grabs the stubborn bottle. This second person is going to attempt to help Tim avoid thoroughly embarrassing himself on the news, but his efforts do not go any better.
While this second person is trying and failing to open the bottle, Tim somehow keeps a straight face and does not miss a beat. He was an absolute pro!

Vicki Lawrence has Carol Burnett in stitches during a hilarious skit on The Carol Burnett Show. Carol cannot keep it together while Vicki berates her with one hysterical insult after another. Watch the short clip to see the moment Carol breaks character, unable to contain her laughter.
The Carol Burnett Show was a legendary television program. It sported an all-star cast featuring some of the biggest names in comedy. Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence and Carol Burnett could take anything and make it funny, causing the audience to double over in laughter.
In addition to making their studio audience and those watching at home crack up, they often did it to one another. Tim Conway was the guiltiest of doing this, usually making Harvey lose his composure and burst into laughter. Those breaks in character created the shows most iconic, memorable moments.
However, as a short clip posted on YouTube shows, Carol was not immune to bursting into laughter during a skit. In the video, Vicki plays Mama, who is likely her most memorable character from the show. Carol is Mamas daughter, Eunice, and the two are engaged in yet another disagreement.
Mama is chasing Eunice down, berating her daughter for whatever incorrect, lame-brained decision she has just made. At one point during the skit, Mama gets on a roll and has the hilarious insults flying out of her mouth. It quickly becomes too much for Carol to take, and she bursts into laughter.
You aint playing with a full deck, Eunice! Mama informs her daughter. I think somebody blew your pilot light out.
At this point, Carol has a huge smirk on her face. You just know she is about to crack up. She tries to turn and look at Mama, but she cant.
You got splinters in the windmills of your mind! Mama says.
Carol then bursts into laughter, desperately trying to conceal the laughter with her hand on her face.
But Mama is not done.
Youre playing hockey with a warped puck!
What another hilarious moment from The Carol Burnett Show.

Don Knotts introduction goes off the rails in the funniest way. The comedic legend had a relatively simple, easy job. But things did not go as planned, so he had to improvise, creating a hysterical situation. Watch the short but laugh-out-loud hilarious clip featuring Don Knotts as he attempts to improvise and quickly keep an entire audience entertained.
Performers must be quick on their feet, ready with a sharp, witty comeback at a moments notice. As it turns out, they also have to come up with ways to keep everyone entertained and engaged, especially when things dont turn out exactly as they expected.
In a short comedic clip posted on YouTube, Don Knotts shows off his ability to improvise, or lack thereof. During the video's opening moments, Don walks out on stage to much applause from the audience. He then goes on to explain his purpose for appearing before them.
Im very happy, and Im really privileged to introduce the next number because it gives me an opportunity to say a couple words about a couple of fellas, I think a lot of, Don says. Ive known Andy and Ernie a long time. Well, Im just proud to be a friend of theirs.
The two people hes introducing are Andy Griffith and Tennessee Ernie Ford. But when he raises his voice and welcomes the two men out on stage, the curtain never goes up, and their absence is noticeable.
Don is then informed that they are not ready yet and that he will have to think of something to keep things going. He comes up with several ideas, including putting the studio audience on television and singing a song with the audience.
Things go from bad to worse for Don. The audience refuses to follow any of his directions. Of course, this was part of a planned bit where Don shows off his comedic genius and talent.

Tim Conway, as Mr. Tudball, struggles to paint his office with Mrs. Wigginss assistance. Nothing is ever as simple as it could and should be for Mr. Tudball, which includes painting the walls of his office. Watch the hilarious skit from The Carol Burnett Show, which features Mr. Tudball and his dimwitted employee, Mrs. Wiggins, trying to paint their workplace.
Many people enjoy being crafty and doing do-it-yourself projects. That usually means fixing up something around the house or in the backyard. Rarely, if ever, does that mean doing a DIY project at the office. When it comes to stuff like that at the workplace, professionals are generally hired to fulfill those roles and do the heavy lifting.
But apparently, Mr. Tudball, one of Tim Conways iconic characters from The Carol Burnett Show, is on the cheap side. Instead of hiring painters to throw some color on his offices walls, he made the executive decision that he and his employee, Mrs. Wiggins, would serve as the painting crew.
This decision would prove to be a bad move but one that provided a ton of laughs. The sketch begins with the easily irritable Mr. Tudball in a bad mood. Mrs. Wiggins is hours late to the office, having wasted half the day. Mr. Tudball lets her know that her tardiness is a massive problem. But without any further delay, the two get prepared to cover their office walls in canary yellow.
Of course, as would be expected, Mrs. Wiggins does not have the slightest idea what she is supposed to do. Mr. Tudball replies, as only he can, with hilarious, lightning-fast, quick-witted insults about her intelligence and wardrobe.
Despite everything, the two of them eventually get to painting. But things dont exactly go according to plan. Mr. Tudball ends up covered in paint and with his bad toupee flopping off the top of his head.
Carol and Tim were two of the most talented and funniest people to appear on television, and this skit is even more proof of that.
Job 8:21 The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.
Tim Conways Mr. Tudball hilariously tries to teach Mrs. Wiggins Blackjack. The gambling lessons dont exactly go as Mr. Tudball had expected, especially given that his pupil is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Watch this clip, another hysterical and iconic skit from The Carol Burnett Show.
Gambling is always a bad bet. The odds are stacked against the players, yet people flock to casinos and willingly hand over their hard-earned money. For every one person who happens to win a considerable amount gambling, hundreds of others leave the casino much, much lighter in the wallet. Las Vegas is not a city that was built on people winning.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Mr. Tudball learns that his lazy, dimwitted employee, Mrs. Wiggins, played by Carol Burnett, is heading out to Las Vegas for vacation. Knowing Mrs. Wiggins isnt the most intelligent person in the world, Mr. Tudball sees this as an excellent opportunity to make a few quick bucks. Hes going to teach her the game of Blackjack.
She has never even heard of the game. So, this is going to be like taking candy from a baby, right? Well, things are never that simple for Mr. Tudball.
Right off the bat, Mrs. Wiggins has Blackjack. After just one hand, Mr. Tudball is down a couple of bucks. But instead of stopping there, he keeps going and ends up losing even more money. Hysterically enough, Mrs. Wiggins takes his money and cleverly gets another week of vacation. Mr. Tudball loses once again, showing that gambling is always a bad bet.
This is an uproarious, laugh-out-loud skit in which Mr. Tudball hurls witty, hilarious insults at Mrs. Wiggins. Sketches featuring Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins always make for a good time, likely causing you to laugh from beginning to end.
Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.
Tim Conway, as an undercover cop, has Harvey Korman in stitches. Harvey struggled to keep it together in this classic skit from The Carol Burnett Show that featured him and Tim as two police officers undercover hoping to catch a criminal. Watch this absolutely laugh-out-loud, uproarious skit with these two comedic legends.
The late Harvey Korman and Tim Conway are some of the most talented and hilarious people to have ever graced the small screen. While both, by themselves, were talented and funny enough to have an entire audience laughing, putting those two together was often a recipe for comedy gold.
Time and again, Harvey and Tim, during their time on The Carol Burnett Show, showed they could bring entire audiences roaring with laughter, often with a simple look or gesture. Tim usually brought the laughs while Harvey played the straight man, trying but failing miserably to keep it together. In countless skits together, Harvey broke character and burst into laughter due to Tims comedic genius, which was so often on display in those sketches.
Once again, in a clip posted on YouTube, Harvey has a tough time keeping it together. He and Tim play two undercover police officers. They try to act as a couple in the park, except that Tim plays the woman and wears a bright pink dress and a blonde wig.
The mere sight of Tim in the dress is enough to cause Harvey to start cracking up, but despite his initial laughter, the skit continues. Harvey continues to burst into laughter throughout the clip at Tims antics.
While undercover as a woman in the park, Tim takes his assignment very seriously and even powders his nose and face, which is just one of the many instances in which Harvey breaks down in laughter.
This clip is yet another example of how, whenever Tim and Harvey were together in a skit, hilarity often resulted in the creation of legendary television moments.
Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.
Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball battle for Tim Conway in a hilarious skit. The hysterical and unforgettable skit from The Carol Burnett Show features the three comedic legends. If there were a comedy Mt. Rushmore, these three would be included. Watch the video to see Tim, Carol and Lucille flex their comedic muscles and skills in this laugh-out-loud sketch.
Sales, of any kind, is a challenging field. For the right type of person, someone suited to that industry, sales can be a very lucrative career. However, it is also a very unpredictable field. It can be a very feast or famine job, where sales come in bunches and then not at all.
Due to the often unpredictable nature of a position in sales, it can be a competitive field. Most customers only have a limited amount of money to spend on a particular item, so salespeople must do what they can to attract and win over their business. This can lead to cutthroat and even shady business practices as companies and salespeople compete against one another for a clients business.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett hilariously demonstrate the competitive environment that accompanies a job in sales. The two funny women play customer service representatives for car rental companies at an airport. Both are desperate to attract every dollar. They will essentially do and say anything, even if it means disparaging their competitor.
Hilariously, as the clip shows, Carol cannot even win her fathers business. He opts to go with his daughters competitor. He may have hurt her feelings and bruised her ego, but at least he saved a buck, right?
Anyway, soon enough, Tim comes along and needs a car. He doesnt have a preference. He needs something to drive. Well, Tim finds himself in the middle of a literal game of tug-and-war between Carol and Lucille. Both desperately want his business.
But in the end, all their extremely hilarious efforts are in vain.
Job 8:21 The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.
As Mr. Tudball, Tim Conway takes Mrs. Wiggins out for a hilarious lunch. Tim Conway and Carol Burnett, as some of their most iconic characters, were out enjoying a nice lunch together, or at least they tried to in this hysterical sketch. Watch this uproarious, laugh-out-loud clip to see Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins side-splitting meal together.
It's always nice to be appreciated. Who doesnt want to hear how much they mean to somebody occasionally? It doesnt matter if that show of gratitude and appreciation comes from a friend, a spouse or even an employer; it will make someones day every time.
A gesture of thanks and appreciation doesn't have to be grand to be meaningful and impactful to the recipient. It could be as simple as saying Thank You for a job well done. Or, if one is feeling especially generous, an employer could take their employee out for lunch to show their appreciation.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Mr. Tudball was treating his employee, the lazy and incompetent Mrs. Wiggins, out to lunch for National Secretary Week. As Mr. Tudball explains, hes chosen to pay for her meal to show her how much he appreciates what she did for me this year. However, moments after making this statement, Mr. Tudball confesses that he is doing so after much pressure from his wife.
Soon after talking with the waiter, played by Harvey Korman, Mrs. Wiggins makes her grand entrance. Once she arrives for her meal, getting herself into the booth takes an extended amount of time. How neither Tim nor Carol cracked up at this point is beyond me. Most people would have been in hysterics.
Of course, Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins lunch goes hilariously off the rails. She has difficulty grasping simple concepts, and Mr. Tudball continues to lob wisecracks at her. As their waiter, Harvey even catches a few of Mr. Tudballs insults.
This clip is an absolute piece of comedic gold and deserves to be watched multiple times!
Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.
Tim Conway, as Mr. Tudball, has intercom issues with Mrs. Wiggins. Carol Burnett and Tim, two comedic legends, bring the house down as some of their most iconic characters from The Carol Burnett Show. Watch the video to see the memorable skit in which Mr. Tudball has more problems with his incompetent employee, Mrs. Wiggins.
Unless they are born into an absurdly wealthy family, most people will have to work for a living. Thats why it is so important to gain as much knowledge and skills as possible. The more information and know-how someone has, typically the more valuable they are to a company and, therefore, the higher their salary.
Despite this generally being the case, there are exceptions to it, like every other rule. Sometimes, lazy and incompetent employees do get raises and promotions. Other times, they get to keep their positions when firing them would make much more sense for everybody involved. Mrs. Wiggins is one of those employees who should have been let go a long time ago.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim Conway plays the cranky, easily irritated, wisecracking boss with a funny accent and bad toupee as he deals with his horrible employee, Mrs. Wiggins, played by Carol. These characters always make for hysterical, classic sketches.
This time, Mr. Tudball desperately tries to explain to her a tactic he wants her to help him with during a critical upcoming meeting. He continually tells her, with much detail, how and when he wants her to use the intercom during his meeting. However, like everything else he tells Mrs. Wiggins, it all goes in one ear and then out the other.
Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins interactions are always a treat to watch, causing everyone who comes across one of these sketches to burst into laughter. But, in my opinion, the best part of them is Mr. Tudballs curt, direct and witty comments about Mrs. Wiggins and how she never responds to or seems to notice them.
Job 8:21 The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.
Harvey Korman and Carol Burnett lose it in a classic scene. The comedic legends cannot keep a straight face as a bickering old couple enjoying a lovely evening together. Watch the short but hysterical clip of Harvey and Carol breaking character and bursting into laughter several times throughout the skit.
Not many programs in television history can compete with The Carol Burnett Show. Its a show that did and still does keep audiences rolling with laughter. The shows off-the-wall skits made for belly laughs, leaving many people gasping for air.
But the shows legendary, all-star cast has helped catapult it to iconic status. People like Vicki Lawrence and Tim Conway, because of their incredible comedic skill and timing, could elevate a skit. With a simple look or how they delivered a line, youd find yourself doubled over and with tears streaming down your face from laughing so hard.
A clip posted on YouTube features another of the shows many iconic, memorable skits in which the cast members even caused themselves to burst into laughter. Harvey and Carol are an elderly couple who have made their way out onto their front porch. They are trying to enjoy their evening as they hit one another with one wisecrack and witty comeback after another.
Around the two-minute mark of the clip, Harvey places his hand on Carols knee. She quickly removes it and puts it on his chair, and he replies, That feels even better. At this line, Carol and Harvey immediately begin smiling.
But later in the clip, it gets even more difficult for them to keep a straight face. Harvey suggests that he and Carol should have another child. Of course, given their advanced age, this is an absurd suggestion, which turns out to be too much for Carol and Harvey. They both burst into laughter with the studio audience and everyone else who comes across this piece of comedy gold.
Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.
Tim Conway has Harvey Korman laughing in a classic cafeteria scene. Once again, Harvey is unable to keep a straight face in this memorable and hysterical skit from The Carol Burnett Show. Watch the video to see what Tim did that had Harvey laughing this time.
Throughout the history of comedy, there have been legendary comedic duos. People like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello and Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong have had audiences rolling with laughter. They could all bring about the big laughs with something as simple as a look or a single line.
As hilarious and legendary as those comedic acts are, one noteworthy pair is missing, and their absence is glaring. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were as funny, if not funnier, than any of the others named. Tim and Harvey played so well off one another, with Tim usually the cut-up and Harvey typically playing the straight man.
A clip posted on YouTube captures that legendary pair in a skit from The Carol Burnett Show. This time, Tim plays an average, ordinary and very meek guy who is simply trying to enjoy his lunch in a cafeteria. However, Tims quiet lunch is quickly disrupted by Harvey, who plays a loud, boisterous, straight-up rude, inconsiderate guy who takes Tims seat.
Carol Burnett, who also appears in the skit, attempts to put Harvey in his place by calling him out for his mean and thoughtless behavior. While Carol is dressing down Harvey, Tim, with a few simple but weird sounds, has Harvey bursting into laughter.
Eventually, despite Harveys attempts, Tims everyman character wins out, and he enjoys a nice meal with Carol. However, its later revealed that Tim is rather odd. He enjoys some strange things on top of his lasagna.
Job 8:21 The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.
As a frustrated door-to-door vacuum salesman, Tim Conway is a laugh riot. The comedic legend brings the laughs again, this time as a salesman who is down and discouraged in another classic Carol Burnett Show sketch. Watch the video for Tims hilarious last-ditch effort to sell a vacuum cleaner.
Sales can be a challenging, tough career field. Those in sales will wholeheartedly agree that its not an occupation for everyone. It can be frustrating when most of your earnings are based on commission, and people arent buying whatever youre selling.
Whenever a salesperson is experiencing a dry spell, having gone through an extended period without a sale, it can be scary. Many may question their ability and even consider a different career field altogether. In a hysterical clip posted on YouTube, its clear that Tim Conway has reached that point as a door-to-door salesman.
In the skit, Tim, who arrives at the customer's house with the vacuum draped around his shoulders, begins giving his best sales pitch. Its clear from the opening moments of his pitch that he is desperate to make a sale. He even tries to make the small gift he hands his possible customer, played by Vicki Lawrence, sound great.
Vicki invites Tim into her house so he can demonstrate his vacuum cleaner. Things are going well at this point. Unfortunately, that doesnt last long. Tims frustration and anger start slowly spilling out as he shows her the household cleaning contraption.
Despite Tims less-than-stellar demonstration, Vicki is convinced of the vacuum cleaners proficiency and wants to purchase one of them. Tim doesnt believe her even when she hands him the money for the cleaner, and soon enough, he storms out of her house in a huff, angry that he hasnt gotten much of a tip.
This skit is another example of Tims massive comedic talents and skills.
