Left-wing Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris and Planned Parenthood have come under fire after falsely claiming Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh called contraceptives “abortion-inducing drugs.”

Fox News reports Kavanaugh was asked on Thursday about a case he ruled on that involved Priests for Life, who were challenging Obamacare’s contraceptive mandate.

He mentioned Priests for Life said to provide contraceptives would “make them complicit in the provision of the abortion-inducing drugs.”

Harris, later tweeted out an edited video of Kavanaugh, making it appear that the term “abortion-inducing drugs” was his own.

Planned Parenthood in a press release, also left out the words “they said” but later admitted their error.

White House Deputy Spokesman Raj Shah said the video was an “obvious act of deception.”
