Hilarious Christian comedian Jonnie W. had the audience rolling with laughter when he brought up the unusual setup a lot of churches have for their drummers. All denominations in the Christian religion have differences in how they view and interpret the Bible. On some issues, many churches and denominations may vary only slightly. However, on other issues regarding interpretation of the Bible and style of worship, the difference may be much greater and more noticeable. However, one way most churches that play contemporary Christian music during service are similar is in their setup for the drummer. Many of those churches seem to place their drummer in an odd, plastic enclosure. Sure, it likely has to do with the sound waves and the room's acoustics, but it still looks weird. In a clip posted on YouTube, Jonnie W. hilariously points this out, leaving the audience literally laughing out loud. Jonnie mentions that when growing up he wanted to play in his churchs worship band. Thats when he turns and notices something off about the churchs stage behind him. Yall got this big, gigantic stage, man, Jonnie said. And you dont have bulletproof glass around your drummer? Look at yall! Is this a good neighborhood? Be honest with me. Need some home dcor? They have all of that and more! In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim Hawkins sings a hysterical song about those wonderful and magical locations where the type of items available for purchase are seemingly endless.For those unfamiliar with the concept of a Buc-ees convenience store and unsure of what they offer and sell. Tim hilariously clears that up in the first few lines of his track. He sings they are essentially a gas station combined with a car wash, a barbeque restaurant, a Cracker Barrel and a Walmart. Popular Christian comedian Tim Hawkins recounts the time when he mistakenly and hysterically wrote down the incorrect Bible verse, which likely made for some interesting conversations. Gods Word is essential daily reading, basically the blueprint for life. The Bible is equipped with advice and timeless wisdom that can be applied to every situation and circumstance in life. The lessons that can be gathered from the Bible are invaluable. However, while the Bible may be a thick book, everyone has a favorite verse they rely on or reflect upon during different circumstances and situations. For comedian Tim Hawkins, his favorite verse is Psalm 34:8: O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him. Well, in a clip posted on YouTube, Tim recalls a time after one of his shows when he forgot the exact location of his favorite Bible verse. As Tim tells it, he was signing autographs after a show when one fan asked him to include his favorite verse from the Bible. It didnt end well. But that night, I forgot the verse, Tim says. I just blanked on it. Instead of Psalm 34:8, Tim signed autographs for nearly a hundred people and included a different verse from the book of Psalms. So, Im thinking, Oh, its Psalm something. I got to pick something, Tim said. And I said, Ill just have to make up a verse here. So, I did. I picked Psalm 38, verse 7. I picked it out of thin air. When Tim got home, he looked up that verse, Psalm 38:7, and realized his unfortunate but hilarious error. And to my horror, it says, Lo, I have a painful disease in my loins, Tim said. That verse, from Psalm, isnt likely to be a favorite verse of many. What are there, a billion verses in the Bible, and I chose that one? Tim said. He has all their voices and mannerisms down cold. Without telling the audience, everyone would have known who he was imitating. His impressions are also spot-on and hilarious without being mean and hateful. They are done to entertain, not to push an agenda or point of view. He figured out what was fair and charged me more. The Carol Burnett Show opted to create a skit highlighting the pains of trying to open a prescription bottle. In this skit, Tim wrestles a childproof bottle as they introduce him as Tim The President of Vortex Industries, Mr. Lloyd Adams. Tim is serious and professional as he sits behind a desk dressed up in a suit and sporting a neatly shaved mustache. He greets the people and then proceeds in a bland voice to reveal his company took the matter of child-proof bottles seriously and had a team of engineers design the safest prescription bottle possible. The only problem is when he attempts to demonstrate the ease of opening the prescription bottle, he runs into a few technical difficulties. Tim tries multiple times and fails. Then a stage worker sneaks behind the desk and tries to open it for him without being seen. He proceeds to grab Tims hand to bang it on the desk. When that doesnt work the first time, he tries again. But this time, he grabs Tims hand and bangs it on the desk. Next, the worker tries to open the bottle with steaming hot water, which unfortunately gets poured all over Tims lap as he attempts to maintain his serious composure. Giving up, Tim hands the bottle to the worker, who retreats behind the scenes. A serious of explosions are heard when pieces of the office rain down on Tim. The final moment of the skit is hilarious. You dont want to miss it. This funny clip is relatable to the pains of prescription bottles. Ive often debated on using a power drill to open a few of mine.
