Comedian Hilariously Explains How Getting Out Of Bed Changes with Age

Comedian Mike Jones hilariously and correctly explains how getting out of bed in the morning does change with age. Aging is hardly ever a fun process. No one over 25 or 30 wants to get any older. They never sit, wait, and anticipate turning 40, 50, 60 or 70. If they had their choice, they would turn back the clock and get younger. Everyone would love to have that ability. Unfortunately, no one has yet found a way to rewind or even pause time. Instead, time keeps slowly moving forward, stopping for no one, doing so as it has since creation. Since aging happens to everyone and is something we cant change or stop, we should have fun with it. That is precisely what comedian Mike Jones did when he highlighted how something as simple as getting out of bed changes through the years and becomes increasingly more difficult. In a hysterical clip posted on social media, Mike states that getting out of bed was a piece of cake and something we did without even thinking about it. When you was young, you could wake up late, get out of bed. Boom, Mike said. Yeah, you remember when you were 20. You could wake up late for work, jump in your clothes. Got to go. Wee! Out the door. But when you hit your 50s, things start changing dramatically. In your 50s, you get out of bed in sections, he said. He described the process of getting out of bed for someone in their 50s. You got to sit in the bed for 30 seconds and let the blood circulate down, he said. Then you turn and put your feet on the floor another 30 seconds to let it go flow down to your knees and ankles. Mike adds that the final stage of the process involves standing out of bed and moving your hip backward to create momentum to propel yourself forward. Job 12:12 Old men have wisdom, and a long life gives knowledge.

Tim Hawkins Hilarious And Delicious Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Christian comedian Tim Hawkins has shared what is likely the most delicious and hilarious Brussels sprouts recipe. God does not create replicas but originals, so that is why no two people are exactly alike. Everyone is different, with their own likes, dislikes, preferences and tastes. How dull would life be if we all liked the same things? No one wants that. These differences in likes and dislikes are likely most apparent and visible in the foods we consume. Everyone has foods they love and can eat nearly every day without ever growing tired of them. However, on the other hand, we all have foods we hate and will do anything humanly possible to avoid putting them in our mouths. Vegetables are a polarizing food group. Some people really enjoy some vegetables, while others hate those same vegetables with a passion that burns bright. One vegetable that seems to catch a lot of hate (mainly because it tastes and smells so bad) is Brussels sprouts. Tim Hawkins has finally developed the perfect recipe for Brussels sprouts, allowing everyone who hates them to consume them easily. In a clip posted on social media, Tim shares his hilarious and inventive recipe. The first step involves cutting the vegetables in half and placing them gently on a baking sheet. Once on the baking sheet, you can sprinkle some spices and even olive oil on them before baking the vegetables for about 15 minutes. However, this is the most crucial step of the recipe. After the vegetables have spent a specific amount of time in the oven, they should be removed and immediately thrown in the trash. Once you have thrown out all the Brussels sprouts and they are securely in the trash, call up and order a pizza. It is a complicated recipe, but most people will be more than happy with the result. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Carol Burnett And Harvey Korman Have Terrible Memories In Hysterical Skit

Comedic legends Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman have absolutely terrible memories in a hysterical skit from The Carol Burnett Show. The aging process impacts everyone. No matter how hard some may try, they cannot and will not avoid getting older. We get older with every passing day, hour and minute. Time, as the old saying goes, stops for no man. Aging is a simple fact of life. Aging is such a part of life that we can literally see its effects. Men commonly lose their hair as they get older, and the hair that they manage to keep on their heads often turns gray. A womans hair will also turn gray. Metabolism slowing down and wrinkles appearing more regularly are all signs of advancing in age. However, people commonly say that the memory is the first thing to go when it comes to getting older. Losing ones memory can be devastating, but Carol and Harvey show that it can also result in some rather funny and laugh-out-loud situations. In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol and Harvey play a married couple awaiting friends' arrival at their house another married couple they havent seen in years. But they cannot remember either the man's or the womans first and last names for their lives. Hilarity ensues after their friends arrive, and they both spend every second desperately trying to get their longtime friends to say their names. Whenever a situation presents itself in which the forgotten couple might say their names, they do not, for one reason or another. Due to some quick thinking from Carol and Harvey, they successfully disguise the fact that they have no idea who exactly they are entertaining at their house. Aging happens to everyone, and sometimes, as the classic skit from The Carol Burnett Show demonstrates, that can make for some hilarious situations. Proverbs 16:31 The grey head is a crown of glory, if it is seen in the way of righteousness.

Carol Burnett Show Stars Pull Hilarious Pranks On Each Other

The cast of the beloved and iconic The Carol Burnett Show pulled a series of hilarious jokes and pranks on one another, forcing them to try and disguise their laughter during a sketch. Not taking yourself too seriously is necessary for a successful, sustained comedy career. Actors and comedians often find themselves in some pretty insane situations, especially in sitcoms or sketch comedy shows like Saturday Night Live or The Carol Burnett Show. Those people must be able to take whatever happens at the moment and roll with it, whether its expected or not. But isnt learning not to take yourself too seriously and being able to laugh at yourself something helpful for everyone? Nobody wants to be around someone who has no sense of humor or cannot take a joke. In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman and Vicki Lawrence show they can take a joke. The Carol Burnett program was known for its cast, mainly Harvey, breaking character and bursting into laughter during the middle of a skit. The 11-minute clip shows some of the best pranks and jokes they pulled on one another. Some of the bits included in the video are of Carol speaking to the audience before the show. As she does her iconic Tarzan call, someone dressed as a gorilla unexpectedly runs up and down the aisles. At another point in the clip, Carol informs the audience about the prank she will play on Harvey. Things go about as expected, and everyone ends up doubled over in laughter. Near the clip's conclusion, Carol attempts to lip-sync along. However, one of the shows crew members has a bit of fun with her. The speed and sound of the recording are manipulated so much that lip-syncing to it is impossible. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Carol Burnett And Jim Nabors Unforgettable Blind Date On The Carol Burnett Show

Legendary comedic actors Carol Burnett and Jim Nabors went on an unforgettable and hilarious blind date on The Carol Burnett Show. Marriage, and everything that comes with it, is one of the best things in life. Nothing beats spending and enjoying life with the love of your life. However, getting to that point can be frustrating and, sometimes, even maddening. Dating takes work. Its essentially a system based on trial and error, spending time with someone as you try to determine if they are a good match. Sometimes, it works; other times, a first date is all the information you need to know that it will not work. One of the most common forms of dating is a blind date. Usually, it means the two individuals have never met before their date. But Carol Burnett and Jim Nabors, in a hysterical skit, gave a blind date an entirely different meaning. The skit posted on YouTube begins with Carol sitting on the couch talking to her mother. After a few moments, it becomes clear that Carols mother has set them up, hoping for a love connection. But Carol doesnt have high hopes and doesnt want someone who wears glasses, which she wears. Jim rings Carols doorbell, and things get off to a wrong but hilarious start. Carol and Jim decide they will not wear their glasses on this date. Those decisions result in hysterical situations. Even getting in the door becomes a chore without the ability to see. Carol mistakes her date for a coat and slams the door in Jims face several times. Eventually, Jim does get into the apartment. They decide to enjoy a drink and dance, and Jim even tries to light Carols cigarette. It all turns into one mishap after another. However, Jim and Carol develop a connection, and the date ends with one of the most awkward and weird kisses youve ever witnessed. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Jim Gaffigan's Side-Splitting Take On Visiting Disney As An Adult

Jim Gaffigan gives his side-splitting take on visiting Disney as an adult, and he makes it sound more miserable than magical! The Disney experience in Orlando consists of four parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disneys Animal Kingdom, and Disneys Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom is said to be The Most Magical Place on Earth. For kids and kids at heart, a pilgrimage to one or more of the Disney parks is a dream come truean enviable vacation, for sure! Jim Gaffigan, however, doesnt see it that way. In his down-on-Disney comedy routine, Mr. Gaffigan compares a day at Disney to one spent at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Clearly, he knows that every licensed driver in the United States will relate to the analogy. Long lines, wasted time, too much closeness, and grumpy moods come with both. The comedian continues by describing the heat of a July day in Orlando, saying that its like standing on the sun's surface! He recalls being a kid and wondering why his dad was always in a bad mood while on vacation. With raised brows and a knowing look, he now understands. He jokes that Disney is just the place for fathers wishing to spend an insane amount of money, desiring to be incredibly uncomfortable, and hoping to hear their youngins whine and complain! Known for his jokes about laziness, fatherhood, religion, and food, he goes on to say that Disney may be the only place where visitors can walk for 12 hours, sweating incessantly, and still gain weight. The fries get the guests every time! Born in Elgin, Illinois, the 57-year-old clean comic has five children, and hes probably made a few trips to Disney. Nominated for seven Grammy Awards, Mr. Gaffigan makes hilarious observations on daily life. And he is right. Disney is not a relaxing vacation for us moms and dads, but were betting that, like parents everywhere, hes felt blessed to be able to make the trip. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; Psalm 103:13

Carol Burnett And Harvey Korman Trade Barbs As Elderly Couple In Hilarious Skit

Two comedic legends, Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman, traded barbs and quick-witted insults as an elderly couple in a hilarious skit from The Carol Burnett Show. Comedy is subjective, and because of that, it isnt easy to do well. What one person believes to be funny likely wont be the exact same thing that tickles someone elses funny bone. So, whenever someone can sustain a long and successful career in the comedy world, you know they are supremely talented. Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman fit that description perfectly. They are two very incredibly talented people. Those two, who were co-stars on the iconic The Carol Burnett Show, still keep laughing with their hysterical performances in zany, off-the-wall skits decades after the show ended its run. In another uproarious clip of a sketch from The Carol Burnett Show, Harvey and Carol star as a bickering old couple. Their insults to one another make it clear that they have been married for decades and are more than comfortable with one another. They know they arent likely to hurt one anothers feelings easily. Minutes into the sketch, Carol and Harvey get a visitor. Harvey doesnt exactly roll out the red carpet for his guest. Instead, he lets the visitor know exactly how he feels and thinks about him. On the other hand, Carol doesnt seem to mind the older man, who looks like he would be at home at a Grateful Dead concert. Carol and Harveys exaggerated antics and ease in delivering their genuinely hilarious insults make this clip absolutely hysterical. This clip shows Harvey and Caroltwo legendary comediansat the top of their game. Somehow, neither Harvey nor Carol ever cracks a smile throughout the five-and-a-half-minute sketch. For a show in which the actors commonly broke character, this seems like a skit that would have been easy to do, especially when it was always Harvey doing so, particularly when he was put in a sketch with Tim Conway. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Carol Burnett Shares Side-Splitting Dinner Tale Involving Her Children

The legendary Carol Burnett shared a hysterical and side-splitting story involving her and her children during dinner. God touches and impacts our lives in various ways, constantly showing us how much He loves us. However, one of the most significant and most apparent ways He does this is by bringing children into our lives. Being a parent is one of lifes biggest blessings. There is nothing like bringing a little bundle of joy into your home. Children add so much joy, happiness and love to life. It is fascinating to watch them grow, learn and explore the world around them. Because they are so young and still learning, children have a unique perspective and an often hilarious way of seeing and saying things. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Carol shared a laugh-out-loud story about dining out with her family when her children were little. As Carol recalls, the situation began because her youngest child, who was five at the time, didnt want an entre and wanted to skip to the dessert portion of dinner. Carol disagreed with that plan. So, like every other parent in that position, she told her daughter, You have to have your dinner, and then you get dessert. That little lady wasnt a fan of her mothers declaration about having to wait for the dessert portion. Carol states that the young woman responded by saying she would not eat anything. A little while later, Carol caught her youngest daughter looking at her during dinner. She said she knew she wanted to make up and apologize for her earlier behavior. The five-year-old eventually did, but did so in the funniest way possible. Eventually, the five-year-old turned to her father and said she loved him and your wife. The five-year-old may have gotten some of her mothers comedic timing and skill. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Times When Carol Burnett Show Stars Couldn't Keep A Straight Face

During many of the classic and hysterical Carol Burnett Show skits, the studio audience wasnt the only people unable to contain their laughter; often, the cast members broke character in the middle of a sketch. The Carol Burnett Show is a beloved television program that continues to provide plenty of laughter and joy. The shows superb writing and stellar cast made for classic sketch after classic sketch. Place Tim Conway, Carol Burnett or Harvey Korman in an insane, off-the-wall setting and just sit back and wait for comedy gold. However, while the program is known for laugh-out-loud skits, its also well known for the many times actors in the sketch could not keep themselves from laughing. For the most part, Harvey seemed the easiest to break, often bursting into laughter at some insane thing from Tim. A clip posted on YouTube featured some of the best moments from the show when the actors broke out into laughter. Again, most of the skits in the video are of Harvey laughing at Tim. The video starts with Harvey and Tim playing criminal masterminds. Tim is preparing his disguise. Its not exactly the best concealment, and Harvey absolutely loses it when Tim augments it in an unconventional way. Another memorable skit in the video is Tim as the Oldest Sheriff during his terrible but hilarious attempts to play a hand of poker. Again, Harvey loses it at Tims hilarious antics. However, the skit in which everyone involved loses it and breaks character, laughing multiple times through the sketch, involves Tim as a surgeon. Tim plays the Oldest Surgeon, and seconds into the sketch, Tim, Harvey and Vicki Lawrence laugh. It would have been nearly impossible to keep from laughing during these sketches in Harvey, Tim and Vicki's defense. It's incredible they were able to keep from laughing as long as they did. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Dick Van Dyke And Carol Burnett Are A Dull Pair In Hilarious Skit

Comedic legends Dick Van Dyke and Carol Burnett play some of the dullest people imaginable in a hilarious skit from The Carol Burnett Show. Having charisma and immediately capturing peoples attention is a gift. Some people have it and others do not. Everyone wants to believe they are interesting and can hold someones attention long enough for a meaningful conversation. But unfortunately, thats not always the case. We all know people who are just dull, boring and bland. Of course, wed never admit such a thing. However, getting cornered by this individual and hearing another one of their long, drawn-out and completely uninteresting stories is one of the worst things possible. You know Im right, even if you dont want to admit it. So, what happens when you get two of the most boring people together? The Carol Burnett Show did that, and the results are absolutely hysterical. Dick and Carol play two individuals at a party. Both are standing off by themselves, with no one talking to them. Soon enough, we learn exactly why that is the case. As the clip begins, Dick spots Carol and then cautiously approaches her. He soon admits that he has little experience talking with others and that talking to himself gets old after some time. Carol, who appears to be frightened, as she stands silently as Dick drones on and on about his lack of experience with human interaction. Despite their initial hesitancy, things progress to the point where they sit down beside one another. Both then tell these long, drawn-out, and uninteresting tales. Funnily enough, Carol and Dick pick up on how boring the other person is quickly. They interrupt the other to continue their story that the other is not interested in hearing. While these characters are not exactly the most charming in the world, Carol and Dick still manage to provide plenty of laughs. Their facial expressions, mannerisms and blunt answers are laugh-out-loud hilarious. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Carol Burnett's Comedic Genius Takes On Inferior Office Products In Laugh-Out-Loud Sketch

The legendary Carol Burnett used her comedic genius to take on inferior products in a laugh-out-loud sketch from The Carol Burnett Show. Its been said that comedy is harder than drama. That makes a lot of sense. It has to be easier to make people cry and shed tears than it is to get those same people laughing hysterically. If you want someone to cry, simply play one of those commercials featuring abused and neglected pets with the Sarah McLachlan music playing over it. Everyone has to turn away from those. However, comedy is much more subjective. What one person believes to be hilarious may not tickle the funny bone of the next guy. Thats why when people are skilled in the comedic arts, they are often referred to as a comedic genius. That title fits a limited number of people, including Carol Burnett. In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol plays an old, frumpy secretary who has been called in to dictate a letter from her boss, who is upset about a recent correspondence hes received. From the moment Carol entered the room, she had the audience laughing. Her exaggerated walk and dress are enough to cause a swell of laughter. But as Carol gets started writing out the letter, things go from bad to worse for her. Carol has a pencil snap on her. She sends the top of a typewriter flying out of the window, pours coffee on her bosss desk and puts her foot through the wall. Eventually, the outrageous and gut-busting skit ends with Carol dangling helplessly from the ceiling. This all takes place without her boss noticing any of the mishaps. Throughout the clip, the studio audience roars with laughter as they look upon Carols many misfortunes. Carol keeps everyone laughing without even saying one word in the nearly 5-minute skit! Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Tim Conway's Adverse Reaction To Shots In Classic Carol Burnett Show Skit

Legendary comedian and actor Tim Conway experienced quite the adverse reaction following several shots in a hilarious skit from The Carol Burnett Show. Most people dont enjoy visiting the doctor. Those visits to medical professionals become even more dreaded when those stops include shots. While shots and vaccines are necessary to keep us safe and healthy, who enjoys being stuck with a needle? No one, thats the answer. However, Tim, in a hysterical skit, doesnt mind shots all that much. Tim appears in the sketch alongside Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman as a couple of doctors celebrating at a restaurant. Tim is Dr. Percy, who volunteered to take a variety of shots, hoping to find a cure for the Swine flu. Everything seems great until Tim runs out for a moment. But when he returns, there is something noticeably different about him. As usual, when Tim and Harvey are in a sketch together, Harvey has a hard time keeping it together. Harvey cracks up as he watches Tim munching down on a banana peel. Somehow, Carol is able to keep it together throughout the skit. Then later, near the conclusion of the nearly 8-minute skit, Carol also begins experiencing a similar reaction to Tim. The Carol Burnett Show, even decades after it was on television, continues to keep people howling with laughter. Harvey, Carol and Tim genuinely seemed to like and appreciate one another. At times, it almost seemed to be a competition between them to see who could get the other to break character first. Im going to say that Tim was likely the winner of those possible competitions. Harvey, who seemed to always play the straight man, was always laughing as he does yet again in this sketch. Proverbs 17:22 A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.

Carol Burnett And Tim Conway's Rib-Tickling Phone Call Skit

Tim Conway and Carol Burnett starred in a hilarious skit about a phone call from The Carol Burnett Show. Theres not much more annoying than getting a call from a number you dont recognize and who then does not leave a voicemail. This leads to all kinds of questions. Who was the person on the other end? Was it simply a wrong number? Or was it someone who intended to call you? If they did mean to call you, why didnt they leave a voicemail stating their reasoning for calling? Who calls instead of texts anyway? This is likely a string of questions that have gone through everyones mind at one time or another. Errant and unanswered phone calls are one way that shows how the human mind works. The mind can go to some crazy places and come up with some weird thoughts at times. A clip posted on YouTube hilariously demonstrates how much damage a call from a wrong number can do, especially for a married couple. In the sketch, Tim and Carol play a married couple who receive a call in the middle of the night from a wrong number. As Carols mind begins to race and think about the mysterious caller, things go from bad to worse. Carol starts to put together this idea in her mind that the phone call was all part of some elaborate plan cooked up by her beloved husband. However, by the end of the clip, Carols initial thoughts and feelings about the call in the middle of the night may not be as crazy as everyone thought. Her remedy to the situation proves that she probably already had an inkling as to what was going on. Carol and Tim, once again, show why they are comedic legends in this laugh-out-loud skit. They take something as innocent and mundane as a call from a wrong number and turn it into six minutes of hilarity! Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.

Dick Van Dyke and Tony Randall's Rib-Tickling Vacation Sketch On The Carol Burnett Show

Two comedic legends, Dick Van Dyke And Tony Randall, appeared in a rib-tickling and laugh-out-loud skit On The Carol Burnett Show. Money is a necessity to function and survive in society. Its the primary motivating factor why people go to work Monday through Friday. As much as we may like our jobs, the odds are that we wouldnt keep showing up if it werent for that weekly or bi-weekly paycheck. Money in and of itself is not a bad thing. In fact, money can do a lot of good in the world. It can pay for a much-needed operation, clothe and feed someone who desperately needs help or put a young person through college. But sometimes, the love of and the excessive desire for money can damage, destroy and strain relationships. Dick and Tony played two buddies enjoying a Hawaiian vacation in a hilarious skit from the beloved The Carol Burnett Show. While they appear to be best friends, the hysterical skit demonstrates how quickly those bonds can become weakened whenever money is involved. The skit starts with Tonys character brooding and complaining about losing $10. He may be in paradise, but he is letting something as small as losing money ruin his vacation. Dick has heard enough of his constant complaining. He continually tells him that he would not let something so small and insignificant disturb him. To show how little he cares about $10, Dick sets a $10 bill on fire. See, no sweat. Dick doesnt care! But things quickly change. Tony discovers that he has not lost his money at all. It was in his pocket the entire time. Dicks mood changes almost instantly following this revelation. From that point forward, the two friends go back and forth, bickering about who is owed what, how much and when. By the end of the skit, its unclear if they are still friends. Hebrews 13:5 Be free from the love of money and pleased with the things which you have; for he himself has said, I will be with you at all times.

Jeanne Robertson Delivers The Laughs With Hysterical Beauty Pageant Tale

Jeanne Robertson was an American humorist, motivational speaker, athlete, teacher, YouTube personality, and Miss North Carolina from 1963. She sadly passed away in 2021 at the age of 77, but her humor and videos live on. In this YouTube video, we get to hear a funny story about the time she was an MC at a small-town beauty pageant in Alabama. One of the young contestants happened to be from Long Island or a city close to it. And she had a pretty thick accent. Jeanne gives the audience an example, and then talks about how the young contestant was concerned the audience would laugh at her because of it. Jeanne says that she told her, I hadnt noticed it, and the audience burst into laughter. The girls talent was going to be tap dancing like the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, which would come up later in her story. Jeanne tells us about Elmo, the man who ran the audio, which at the time meant he had to change out the records based on each contestant. She talks about how the audience didnt laugh at the girl when she came out and talked about herself for the first time. Then she goes on to talk about a few of the other contestants and what they did for their talents. One jumped on a trampoline, another lifted weights to classical music, and a third packed a suitcase. And still, the audience did not lose it. It was time for the Northern girl to start her talent, tap dancing. Only, when the music started playing Elmo had it on the wrong setting and it was set at a very fast tempo. The girl went with it and started tap dancing very fast. However, when Elmo tried to fix his mistake, the tempo became very slow and the girl started dancing slowly to match it. Then, the record got stuck and kept repeating itself with the lyric, warm. The girl just went with it and the audience started doing it along with her. Jeanne made the audience laugh once again by acting out the dancing. Jeanne has a way of telling a story. She is engaging and makes the audience laugh, no matter what she seems to be talking about. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD has done great things for them. - Psalm 126:2

Tim Conway, Harvey Korman And Carol Burnett Bring The Laughs In Cramped Office Sketch

Three comedic legends Tim Conway, Harvey Korman and Carol Burnett bring the laughs in a hilarious Carol Burnett Show sketch about a cramped office. Before the pandemic changed forever how and where people work, nearly everyone went into a physical office to do their job. However, instead of going into an office every day, many people do their work remotely, working from the friendly confines of their homes. Working from home, like everything else, has its advantages and disadvantages. But one of the biggest advantages of working from a remote, home office is the space it allows people. No one has to work right on top of one another because coworkers are literally spread out around the country and maybe even around the world. In a clip posted on YouTube, Carol, Tim and Harvey demonstrate in the most hysterical way possible the issues with trying to fit too many people in a small, tight working area. But those three arent the only members of the talented Carol Burnett Show cast who make an appearance in the sketch, all get involved. Vicki Lawrence pops in and out of the office, playing the boss. The sketch begins with Carol and Harvey arriving at the beginning of their workday. But seconds after their arrival, something is off about this situation. Carol and Harvey work in an office designed to house one person. However, while working together for 20 years in that location, Carol and Harvey have made things work. Tim arrives minutes into the sketch as a brand-new hire, adding one more person to the already cramped and tightly compact office. To get to his seat, Tim hilariously struggles, climbing on and over the office furniture. How Tim, Carol and Harvey kept from laughing had to have been a monumental chore. Tim is beaten in the face repeatedly by a typewriter, and Harvey never cracks a smile! Also, before the classic skit ends, Tim gets slammed in the face by a filing cabinet. Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a broken spirit drieth up the bones.
